How do I book a party?
You can call us at 302-236-1587 to reserve a party.
How much does a party cost?
See individual event web pages for pricing, or call us for special multi-package events.
Do I pay in advance and what is your cancellation policy?
Yes, all orders require a 30% non-refundable deposit in order to reserve your rental date (see policy on weather cancellations below). The remaining balance is due at least 48 hours prior to your party. In the event of a cancellation, if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your event, you will receive a refund of any monies paid minus the deposit. If cancelled less than 48 hours from the event, no refund will be given. However, you will have a raincheck to use for up to one year from the original date of your event (we're awesome like that). If you do not use your raincheck within that year, you forfeit all monies sent to Anchors Aweigh Entertainment, LLC.
What payment types do you accept?
Cash, Check or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change.
Does the standard rental time include set up time?
No, we arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play, and when your time has concluded, we will then take everything down and leave.
Do all participants have to complete a waiver?
All participants at every event are required to sign the waiver - get digital waiver here.
You can access our waiver online at the link below. Ensure that the parent signs for the child(ren) when dropping off.
What is your Weather Policy?
We understand the stress that our customers go through when their loved one’s party has to be canceled due to weather. We don't like anyone to miss out on Anchors Aweigh, LLC's games & movie experiences, which is why we will apply your deposit to another date in the future - up to a year to use from the original event date (how cool are we?!). We can work with you to make this determination no more than 48 hours before the event. This allows our customers enough time to notify guests. On the day of the event and during periods of severe weather (rain, high winds, etc.), we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. If conditions are not too severe, we will give you the option of keeping the rental or accepting a rain check for a future date. If you decide to keep the equipment for the term of the rental agreement (regardless of weather) there will be no refunds. There will be no refunds within 3 hours of the party start time. The wind speed will dictate to us the equipment we will be allowed to use - for example, inflatables cannot be set up in wind conditions of 15 miles per hour or more.
Are we responsible for damage in any way?
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear of our equipment. For example, barricade seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens, please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If, however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (for example, jumping on the barricades or leaving the equipment out in wet conditions, etc.), you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the equipment (which can cost thousands of dollars). We don't want you (or us) to be in that situation, which is why we have you sign and initial all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator. We also have our optional damage waiver which can be purchased for 7% of your rental fee which covers you for any "unintentional" damage that may occur during your rental period. However, this waiver does not cover negligence or damage to equipment that occurs while not following the operating instructions provided at the time of rental.
POWER - Are we responsible for ensuring that adequate and functional power is available?
We strongly encourage you to check power on the circuit we will be using with a device that draws high wattage (like a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer) to ensure there are no issues with circuit breakers or other electrical problems.
• Parks & Other Public Locations: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. Again, we strongly encourage you to check power on the circuit we will be using.
• If power is available at the park: It is important to verify with the park that the circuits are 110V and are able to be used.
• Home & Private Locations: Many homes have GFI circuits that are sensitive to high wattage equipment. Please test your outlet with high wattage appliances to ensure that the circuit can handle our equipment. We typically range up to 2000 watts with some of our event equipment where high-speed fans are used (like our movie screen). Many times, we simply move to a different circuit in the home, but will need the homeowner to verify before we arrive.
• Houses on the beach – The sand, water and wind can pose issues with certain equipment that is beyond Anchors Aweigh Entertainment, LLC's control. Please give us a call to determine what services/equipment we can provide for your party.
